Brian Hartman
Chief Executive Officer
Brian is 15-year Green Industry veteran who began his career post-college in the Tree Services space at Atlanta-based 404-Cut-Tree (later sold to Sav-A-Tree), where he worked his way to Operations Manager in 5 years.
In 2015, Brian joined Brightview, the leading Commercial Landscaping company in the US. Brian started as a Senior Account Manager before working his way to Branch Manager of Brightview’s largest Georgia branch, where he helped launch Brightview's Tree operations in Georgia.
In 2022, Brian left Brightview and acquired Northside Tree Professionals, the first brand under the Arbor Alliance umbrella. At Northside Tree, Brian focused on employee safety, hiring the best talent, and exceeding customer needs - all of which continue to make up the pillars of Arbor Alliance's philosophy.
David Thompson
Chief Operating Officer
David is a Certified Arborist, Georgia Certified Landscape Professional, and Georgia Licensed Pesticide Applicator with nearly four decades in the green industry. A former U.S. Marine with a Bachelor’s in Leadership, David worked his way from an entry-level role to Branch Manager and ultimately Director of Operations with BrightView.
David is passionate about growing people and helping business owners find new freedom and opportunity through smart partnerships. Having lived the long days and built teams from the ground up, David understands what it means to create something lasting—and how the right next step can keep that legacy growing.
Maggie Shadburn
Controller
Maggie is a two-decade veteran of the green industry and plays a key role in supporting Arbor Alliance’s financial operations with a strong focus on organization and efficiency.
With a passion for small businesses and a background in administrative leadership and business operations, Maggie brings a detail-driven approach to managing processes, coordinating teams, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients and partners.
